Lao Tze


Lao Tze Tung was the vary first philosopher of Taoism.
Lao-Tze lived from b.604 to 531 BC. He was native of Ch'ΓΌ-jen, given name was Li Erh. Lao-tze is the reputed author of the 'Tao Te Ching' and founder of the Taoist religion in China. Threw his life he taught that "The Dao that can be told, is not the eternal Dao", as is referenced within his writings. Lao tze is also known for his quotes like, Seek not happiness too greedily, abd be not fearful of happiness and He who knows others is wise; He who knows himself is enlightened.
